Refund Policy

Our commitment to fair and transparent refunds

Effective Date: January 2025

At IICST we aim to be fair and transparent about refunds. Please read this policy carefully before completing a payment. By making a payment you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this Refund Policy.

1. Membership Fees

If you are not satisfied with your membership for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your payment date. After 30 days, membership fees are non-refundable. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to accounts@iicst.org along with your membership reference number. Upon approval, your membership will be cancelled and access to member-only resources will cease.

2. Course Fees

Refunds for course registrations are based on how far in advance you cancel before the course start date:

  • 7 or more days before the course start date: 100% refund of the course fee.
  • 3 to 6 days before the course start date: 50% refund of the course fee.
  • Within 3 days of the course start date (including on the day): No refund.

If IICST cancels or reschedules a course, registered participants will receive a full refund or be offered a seat in the rescheduled session.

3. Event & Conference Fees

For events, seminars, and conferences, a full refund is available if you cancel at least 48 hours before the event start time. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable. If an event is cancelled by IICST, a full refund will be provided.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email accounts@iicst.org with the subject line “Refund Request — [your name]”.
  2. Include your payment reference / transaction ID and the reason for cancellation.
  3. Our accounts team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 working days through Razorpay back to the original payment method.

Please note that Razorpay’s processing timeline is outside our control. Actual credit to your account may depend on your bank or card issuer.

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • Certificate issuance and replacement fees.
  • Examination entry fees (unless the examination is cancelled by IICST).
  • Processing charges levied by Razorpay, if any.
  • Membership fees paid more than 30 days prior to the refund request.
